The Deeds of Henry V

History is brought to life with our series of video portraits of characters that tell their take on events as they happened 600 years ago. We are guided through time by the mystery writer of Gesta Henrici Quinti, The Chronicler of the deeds of Henry V. Each month will see new episodes appear on the website with The Chronicler adding further accounts from the past.

The voice of the chronicler is performed by Samuel West (Notting Hill, Howards End and BBC One’s – Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell).

UPDATE for September to October 4th:  Episode 10. This section recalls the King sailing to invade France, Episodes 11 – 15 recounts the Siege of Harfleur.

Use the small video frames below to move the sequence. Each narration is followed by reactions by the ‘Voices from The Past’.
